All employees of Veiling Rhein-Maas whose presence on site in Straelen-Herongen is absolutely necessary to maintain legal capacity and who have to be away on business despite a possible future curfew, will receive a `certificate of indispensability of the employee´ today. Veiling Rhein-Maas remains in close contact with both parent organisations Landgard and Royal FloraHolland as well as with suppliers, customers and employees, in order to protect the health of all partners and to secure all business and marketing activities.
Curfew - what does it mean?
Should there be further curfews based on the German Infection Protection Act, all people affected may no longer leave their own homes without valid reasons. Compliance is monitored by the police and public order offices. The following twelve exceptions are defined as valid reasons:
- Travelling to and from the place of work with certificate from the employer
- Purchases for the needs of daily life within the concerned urban area
- Visits to medical offices, medical supply stores, opticians, hearing aid acousticians and health practices (e.g. physiotherapy facilities)
- Visits to pharmacies within the respective urban area
- Visits to post branches
- Refuelling at gas stations
- Withdrawing money at banks
- Assistance to needy persons
- Firefighters and rescue workers on their way to the base or place of action
- Necessary delivery traffic
- Submission of postal voting documents
- Essential care of pets
Prepare your own business
Veiling Rhein-Maas strongly advises all suppliers of the marketplace to prepare themselves and their employees for a possible curfew.
