    IFTEX International Flower Trade Exhibition is the biggest trade fair for flowers and plants in Africa and has been held in Nairobi every year since 2012.

    Jos van der Venne visited the 12th edition of IFTEX, which took place in Nairobi from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 June 2025, on behalf of Veiling Rhein-Maas. With almost 200 exhibitors, the fair once again broke records in terms of size. This clearly shows the importance of Kenya as a flower producer and exporter.
