Veiling Rhein-Maas is laying the foundation for further growth with the takeover of the currently unused Hall N on the company site in Straelen-Herongen. "Following the commissioning of the new LMC in Building T, the takeover of Hall N marks the next important step in our ''Standort 2025'' strategic project our marketplace for the future," explain Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra, Managing Directors of Veiling Rhein-Maas. "The commitment for the use of Hall N is proof of the Landgard Managing Board's confidence in Veiling Rhein-Maas and in the development potential of our marketplace."
With Hall N, Veiling Rhein-Maas will have around 10,000 square metres of additional hall space at its disposal. The space will soon be available for the auction and its customers to use – which would not have been the case with a new building. The Import Department and the Service Centre, among others, will move to Hall N after the summer. The newly acquired space will be remodelled to meet the requirements of the specialist departments.
"It is clear that the addition of Hall N will set off a welcome chain reaction on our company premises," say Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra. "The relocation will free up space in other areas that can then be used for other things, thus opening up new configuration options for us within the framework of the 'Standort 2025' project. It will create additional space for further growth - for Veiling Rhein-Maas, our customers and our suppliers. All in line with the project's objective."
