Adjustment of supply regulations due to the current market situation: Veiling Rhein-Maas

In the current uncertain market and sales situation, Veiling Rhein-Maas kindly asks all suppliers of the market place in Straelen-Herongen to temporarily reduce their supply amounts which are destined for the auction clock. Furthermore, it will not be possible to supply cut flowers and potted plants in A2 and B quality to Veiling Rhein-Maas for the time being. The auction at the market place in Straelen-Herongen is taking place until further notice.

We deeply regret having to call on our suppliers to take this measure in the light of current developments. Over the past two weeks and also today, prices have been significantly below the normal price level. We are taking this necessary measure in order to avoid further price pressure and additional costs caused by an oversupply. We reserve the right to carry out further measures in the event of unannounced supply or excessive quantities.
