Modernisation of the auction clock front has started

25 June 2020

Veiling Rhein-Maas has started the modernisation process of the auction clock front on 19 June 2020, during which the whole front will be equipped with the latest LED technology, which means that the auction can be conducted even more energy efficient. In addition, the display will be more flexible than before, so that it can be adapted optimally to customer requirements.

Conversion works
A scaffold has been set up in the auction room and the modernisation of clock 1 and 2 is well under way. Subsequently, two auction clocks will be modernised at a time, so that six auction clocks can be operated at any time. During the conversion phase, cut flowers and potted plants are auctioned at three clocks each. The completion of the modernisation at all eight clocks is planned for the beginning of September. You can find some impressions of the conversion of the clock front here.

Due to the conversion works, the auction for cut flowers and potted plants will already start at 05:30 am in calendar week 27. We will keep you informed about new developments on our website, social media channels and via our newsletters.
