Modernisation of the auction clock front starts on 19 June 2020

21 May 2020

As announced earlier, Veiling Rhein-Maas will start the modernisation process of the auction clock front in June, during which the whole front will be equipped with the latest LED technology. On Friday, 19 June 2020, a scaffold for the conversion works will be set up in the auction room which means that the modernisation of clock 1 and 2 can start on Monday, 22 June 2020.

Subsequently, two auction clocks will be modernised at a time, what takes two weeks each, so that six auction clocks can be operated at any time. During the conversion phase, cut flowers and potted plants are auctioned at three clocks each. The completion of the modernisation at all eight clocks is planned for the beginning of September.

Many thanks for your understanding!
Of course, we will do our best during the modernisation measures to ensure that the auction (operation at six auction clocks) is as free of disturbances and interruptions as possible. Should any inconvenience arise anyway, we ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding this major modernisation project in advance. We will keep you informed about new developments on our website.
