Four times a year, Veiling Rhein-Maas puts the spotlight on a regional supplier of the auction. In our latest ‘Suppliers in the spotlight’-video, we introduce you to `Rosenhof Odendahl´ from Neuss (Germany).
Wide assortment
“We cultivate a versatile rose assortment in pots for your garden, balcony or terrace. The auction clock in Straelen-Herongen is our ‘shop window’ where we display our new products,” says Franz Josef Odendahl, who manages the family business.
Customers’ favourite: the ‘Nostalgie’
The company cultivates around 500,000 roses yearly in more than 300 varieties on a two hectare area under glass and foil and a 3.5 hectare area of open land. One of the customers favourite products is the rose ‘Nostalgie’ which features an enjoyable fragrance and a beautiful contrast between white and red.
Feedback for further developments
In addition to the auction clock, Franz Josef Odendahl also offers his products year-round via the Clock Service of Veiling Rhein-Maas. “We also include recent product photos because we know that it is very important that customers get a good impression of the products we offer. I regularly speak to customers in order to get to know their requirements and demands. This is an important part of ensuring that our company continues to develop. Furthermore we guarantee a high level of quality and a wide and appropriate assortment at all times,” says Franz Josef Odendahl.
