Congratulations to all who entered, all nominees, all winners and especially "Florensis Deutschland", winner in the category "Flowers and Plants: Breeding or Concept of the Year", which was sponsored by Veiling Rhein-Maas.
The managing directors of Veiling Rhein-Maas, Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra, presented the award for the category "Flowers and Plants: Cultivation or concept of the year" to Florensis for "Impatiens Glimmer - Stardust instead of mildew". The concept is based on the fact that Impatiens plants, which used to be very popular, all over the world suffer from downy mildew. With the double flowering Glimmer series, Florensis hopes to revive the premium market as the plants show no signs of mildew infestation.
