New management at Veiling Rhein-Maas as of 1 January 2020: Veiling Rhein-Maas

On 01 January 2020, Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra will jointly take over the management of Veiling Rhein-Maas. Günther Esser, most recently Managing Director of Landgard Fachhandel GmbH & Co. KG, will assume the role of Spokesman and Cees Hoekstra, formerly Managing Director of the auction in Eelde of Royal FloraHolland, will be responsible for the commerce division.

Cees Hoekstra has already been part of the management board of Veiling Rhein-Maas together with Franz-Willi Honnen since August 2018.

Following the departure of Franz-Willi Honnen, the two experienced managers will be jointly responsible for the operational management of Veiling Rhein-Maas, ensuring the implementation of the long-term strategy set up with both parent companies for the further development of the joint venture.

With Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra, Landgard and Royal FloraHolland rely on an experienced management team, that knows the market as well as the marketplace in Straelen-Herongen. The attainment of a further positive development at Veiling Rhein-Maas, both stationary and digital, will be the main task of the new management board.
