Auction will be held until further notice: Veiling Rhein-Maas

In the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus, the Federal and State Governments have agreed on uniform rules for all of Germany. From Monday, 23 March 2020, a comprehensive contact ban will come into force, which prohibits meetings and gatherings in public of more than two people. Exceptions to this rule include meetings that are absolutely necessary for business, professional and official reasons, which means that the auction at Veiling Rhein-Maas will continue. At the moment, Veiling Rhein-Maas does not expect any further business restrictions in the green sector. In North Rhine-Westphalia, garden centers and florist shops may (re)open under certain conditions.

We remain at your side
This means that Veiling Rhein-Maas will continue to offer the flowers and plants of its suppliers via auction clock, Clock Service and Webshop until further notice. We strongly advise our customers to purchase their products via Remote Buying as available. Your safety is our priority at Veiling Rhein-Maas. We look forward to welcome you tomorrow in Straelen-Herongen and hope to master this challenging situation together with you. We thank you in advance for your understanding for any delays.

New: extended measures at Veiling Rhein-Maas
In order to continue to protect the health of all employees, customers and suppliers in Straelen-Herongen, Veiling Rhein-Maas is taking further measures within the framework of current developments. From Monday 23 March 2020, some seats in the auction hall will be closed for your safety in order to maintain the necessary minimum distance of 1.5 meters (approximately two arm lengths) between each other. Please also note the adapted running routes in the auction room. If you would like to view the products in the set-up area before the auction, we would like to point out that you should do this on your own and also keep the minimum distance to each other here. In addition, maintaining the minimum distance will be checked by the employees of the auction throughout the Veiling Rhein-Maas premises. You will recognise our employees by the warning vests. We would like to point out that the instructions of the employees must be followed.

Protect yourself and your surroundings
Please comply with the general hygiene regulations: keep at least 1.5 meters distance between each other! Do not shake hands, wash your hands regularly, stick to the coughing and sneezing etiquette and avoid touching your face.
