Current information Coronavirus: FFP2 masks are compulsory as of 12 April 2021

9 April 2021

Due to current developments and new regulations connected to the Coronavirus and on the instructions of the Public Order Office of Straelen, Veiling Rhein-Maas is obliged to implement new, stricter rules. As of Monday, 12 April 2021, FFP2 masks are compulsory at all times in the auction room and the foyer of Veiling Rhein-Maas. This means that you also have to wear a FFP2 mask while you are purchasing and sitting at the benches in the auction room. All other masks are no longer permitted in the auction room and foyer.

Requirement to present a negative Corona test
We would also like to point out once again, especially to our customers who live in the Netherlands and would like to purchase products at Veiling Rhein-Maas, that new regulations for entering Germany from the Netherlands have been in force since 6 April 2021. In particular, there is a requirement to present a negative corona test that is not older than 24 hours. This also applies to our customers who live in France and wish to purchase at site in Straelen-Herongen. You can find more information here.

Access controls
Therefore, as of Monday 12 April 2021, access controls will be held in the foyer of the auction. Please remember to wear an FFP2 mask on each day and also to carry your valid, negative Corona test if you are coming from the Netherlands or France and want to purchase products via the auction clock. We can only give access to the auction room and foyer to customers who wish to purchase via the auction clock. To get access they also have to fulfil the previously mentioned requirements.

These rules have been agreed with the Public Order Office and health authorities.

Thank you in advance for your support - help to ensure that we can continue to auction and that we all stay healthy!
